Whenever we take on a Search Engine Optimisation Project we follow a very simple and methodical approach with all our clients. This approach to search optimisation can be seen below.
Phase 1 - SEO objectives & project planning
- Assess your websites' current situation, determining previous use of, and experiences of any search engine optimisation services in the past
- Define project objectives and produce a project plan with realistic timescales
- Define your websites key performance measurables and setup a reporting and metrics framework using ClickTracks
- Carry out a thorough competitor analysis to determine any successful SEO strategies
Phase 2 - Keyword research and planning
Phase 3 - Website technical audit
- Improve the websites general search engine friendliness by improving the site structure, navigation and internal links.
- Design and develop highly optimised web pages aimed at improving search engine rankings and improving site content for your visitors
- Design and implement a template for all future changes made to the site
- Provide any necessary training to key members of staff to ensure quality
- Develop a strategy for keeping the site fresh and up to date, thus improving search engine rankings on an ongoing basis.
- Implementation of a search engine friendly site map
Phase 4 - External profile development
- Increase the number of incoming links to your site through submission to relevant search engine directories, and other niche or authority sites, together with appropriate search engine submissions
- One off manual submission to the main search engines and implementation of a Google sitemap as appropriate
Phase 5 - Project implementation
- Monitor and measure results of the SEO campaign in relation to site measurables and objectives using a suitable website analysis package. Our preference is Clicktracks.
- Implement continuous improvement strategies and continue to develop and monitor incoming links
- Implement on page elements that can help improve the conversion rates
